Sinful Lunch!

Yesterday AV and I were so lazy to go out for lunchie. And thus we thought of getting the to-go food from the canteen at our office building. I couldn’t resist the chilly prawn and took quite much of the dish and I didn’t take any greens coz none looks appetizing to me! AV chided me on my food selection and makes me feel guilty!

Chilly prawns and no greens for my high cholesterol body! What was I thinking!

Well, I felt bad afterwards though I enjoyed the food so much. Thus, I went to buy to packet of fruits afterwards, guava and grapes to make myself feel better!

Oh well, I’ll certainly load up my greens today! =P

Dry Eyes Solution~

As I have blogged before, I have dry eyes that make it difficult for me to stare at the computer monitor for hours. But that is what I do every single day, staring at the monitor at 8 hours of work and even for a couple of hours after work! It is very bad to my eyes but I just couldn’t help myself.

I normally use the artificial tears that I got from the clinic but it doesn’t help very much. And recently I find that even the outer eyelids are very dry too!

So I put some eye cream whenever I felt that it is dry and guess what? It helps! It feels more soothing and not as dry already. Now I am bringing my eye cream to work and apply it every couple of hours. Maybe the air conditioning is making my eyes dry.

By the way, I am currently using Simple Regeneration Age Resisting eye cream with Gingko Biloba and green tea. Hope it could protect my eyes. =)

New Stand Fan!

I have been using my table fan for almost 3 years. But the wind is not strong as I have broken the blade a couple of years ago. I bought a new blades to replace them but I guess it is not as compatible as the original one.

As a result, volume 3 wind is almost like volume 1 of other table fan!

I saw a promotion on stand fan at Tesco on Sunday and well, it is time to replace my old table fan! The price is very reasonable and it was of good brand too.

The wind is strong even at mode 1 and I love it! I should have replaced it two years ago!

Scorching Hot!

I love it when it has been raining daily for the past couple of months. The weather was cooling and nice. But since last Saturday, there wasn't any rain since today! It has been freaking hot! It is tough to sleep at night even with two fans as it is too warm and uncomfortable. I just feel like going to the shopping mall for the air conditioner. Maybe I should do just that and hang out at the mall during the weekend!

Today I was late to work again. I thought I could reach at 10 am something but I only managed to reach by 11am! Normally I start work at 9.30am. I have to go to the bank at Kepong, which took me longer time that I expected! I sms-ed my team mate that I would be late today. I must say it is quite flexible at my current company.

We can come at a later hour as long as we replaced the hours later. Which means I would have to go back late, perhaps around 7.30pm to 8pm today.

But I hope to come sharp at 9.30am everyday so I can go home punctually at 6.30pm. =)

What must you buy in Langkawi?

Of course all the duty free stuffs such as the chocolate, liquors and the cigarette! It is super duper cheap, some even more than 50% off from the current market price, no kidding!

I have been getting my good share of chocolate too and liquor for my family. Not the cigarette, thanks!

Helang Hotel

My family and I went to Langkawi island last month for a family trip, one that we haven’t had for long time. I bought the Firefly package with accommodation a couple of months earlier from the Matta Fair.

Upon reaching there, we were delighted to be given the car for 3 days instead of 2. The Hotel Helang, although a little too far from the town is quite a nice one, at 3 Stars. My parents love the huge bedroom and I simply like the beautiful vanity attached bathroom!

For the first time in my life, I visited the Subang Airport, also known as Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport when I went to Langkawi with my family last week.

One of the thing I like about the airport is it is much nearer to the city compared to the LCCT and KLIA. You need about an hour to travel there but with Subang Airport, you take half the travel time or less!

But it is currently under renovation and everything seems to be very messy. They do not even have a proper baggage claim area! Anyway, I spotted a conveyer belt which I suppose will be the baggage claim in the future.

Well, I’ll certainly choose Firefly over Airasia if both the flight prices are the same, just for the sake of the distance!
